Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup light corn syrup
- 12 oz dark (or your favorite) chocolate, either as chips, or chopped from a block
Instructions
- Bring cream and corn syrup to simmer in heavy medium saucepan. Remove from heat. Add the chocolate, and let it sit for 30 seconds.
- Stir or whisk the mixture until the chocolate has melted, and it’s smooth.
- Serve over ice cream. Or just eat it all with a spoon.
Notes
Note: Can be made 2 days ahead. Cover and refrigerate. Re-warm Hot Fudge Sauce over medium-low heat just until heated through. Or for a few seconds in the microwave oven. Yield: Approx 2 cups
