Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs salmon fillets, cut into 4 servings
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup water
  • 3 tbsp minced onion
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh ginger root
  • 1 tbsp sesame seed, toasted
  • 2 tsp sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450°
  • Place the salmon in a bowl
  • Place the remaining ingredients into a blender or food processor, and process until it’s mostly smooth
  • Pour the marinade over the fish Turn it over to coat all of the sides
  • Marinate for up to 30 minutes, turning the fish occasionally. If you don’t have the time for the fish to marinate, you can cook it immediately
  • Place the fish skin side down on a sheet pan with sides
  • Cook for approximately 12-15 minutes, or 10 minutes for every inch of thickness of the fish. Cook to your liking, or to an internal temperature of 145°
