Teriyaki Salmon

1 ½ pounds salmon fillets, cut into 4 servings

¼ cup soy sauce

¼ cup water

3 tablespoons minced onion

1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger root

1 tablespoon sesame seed, toasted

2 teaspoons sugar

Preheat the oven to 450°

  1. Place the salmon in a bowl
  2. Place the remaining ingredients into a blender or food processor, and process until it’s mostly smooth
  3. Pour the marinade over the fish Turn it over to coat all of the sides
  4. Marinate for up to 30 minutes, turning the fish occasionally. If you don’t have the time for the fish to marinate, you can cook it immediately
  5. Place the fish skin side down on a sheet pan with sides
  6. Cook for approximately 12-15 minutes, or 10 minutes for every inch of thickness of the fish. Cook to your liking, or to an internal temperature of 145°
